Terms and Conditions

The Gallagher Rewards Program is a loyalty marketing program by Arthur J. Gallagher Canada Limited (hereafter referred to as “AJGCL“). AJGCL may engage with third-party service providers to assist with operating the Gallagher Rewards Program. A member of the Gallagher Rewards Program are employees of our partner organizations (the “Member” or collectively as the “Members”) registered to the Gallagher Rewards Program to earn points (“Reward Points”) by generating qualified leads that may be redeemed for certain rewards such as travel, merchandise or gift cards (“Reward”).

The accumulation of Rewards Points does not entitle Members to any vested rights and, in accumulating Rewards Points, Members may not rely upon the continued availability of any Reward. Changes to the Gallagher Rewards Program may affect Rewards Points that a Member has already accumulated, as well as any future accumulation of Rewards Points.

If any Member require information on the balance of Rewards Points, including information on redeeming your Rewards Points, they will be provided as requested.  Regular updates are sent by AJGCL on an ongoing basis. AJGCL specifically reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the Gallagher Rewards Program upon 30 days’ notice.

You acknowledge and accept the following conditions of membership:

  1. By accepting to join the Gallagher Rewards Program, you acknowledge that AJGCL assumes no contractual or legal responsibility to you and has specifically limited its legal obligations in its arrangements with the partners from whom the Rewards are supplied.
  1. You agree that Gallagher is in no way liable to you, howsoever arising in relation to the performance of their obligations to you under the Gallagher Rewards Program, whether by reason of negligence, breach of statutory duty, breach of contract, breach of the agreed terms and conditions or otherwise. You agree that Gallagher shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising under or in connection with the Gallagher Rewards Program, including the redemption of any Rewards Points for a Reward.
  1. By enrolling in the Gallagher Rewards Program or collecting Rewards Points, you agree to the General Terms and Conditions and you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  1. A total of a minimum 75 Reward Points needs to be reached in order to begin redeeming.
  1. You may choose to leave the Gallagher Rewards Program at any time. If you wish to redeem your Rewards Points prior to leaving the Gallagher Rewards Program, you must have a minimum of 75 points. If you leave the Gallagher Rewards Program and do not redeem your Rewards Points, they will be forfeited and no longer accessible to you.
  2. Rewards Points do not have monetary value and cannot, under any circumstances, form the basis of any monetary claim against AJGCL.
  3. Membership for the Gallagher Rewards Program is limited to natural persons, and no corporation, trust, partnership or other entity may hold membership in the Gallagher Rewards Program except as may be authorized by AJGCL at its sole discretion.
  4. Rewards Points are to the benefit of the Member and cannot be exchanged for cash nor assigned, traded, willed or otherwise transferred unless AJGCL provides written consent in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions), and any assignment or transfer in violation of these rules will be void and may, at the discretion of AJGCL, result in the loss of membership or the cancellation of the affected Reward, as the case may be.
  5. Notwithstanding any of the above, AJGCL may, from time to time, in its sole discretion, allow Members to do the following:
    • transfer Rewards Points to another account;
    • transfer Rewards Points after death;
    • transfer Rewards Points after leaving their current employer; or
    • reinstate expired Rewards Points.
  1. AJGCL specifically reserves the right to unilaterally amend any of the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions. AJGCL will give 10 days’ notice of any changes to these General Terms and Conditions, and a comparison illustrating the changes. If a member does not accept any change, the member may cancel membership in the Gallagher Rewards Program within 30 days after the effective date of the change, by way of notice to AJGCL, without cost, penalty or cancellation indemnity.
  2. AJGCL or its partners may refuse Reward Points redemptions, reverse Reward Points redemptions already claimed, or deduct Reward Points from a member’s account where the redemption is based on an error in the Rewards Points required for the redemption or an error in the number of Rewards Points credited to an account, whether that error occurred through an act or omission of AJGCL or one of its partners or suppliers. Each Member consents to the disclosure of the account information that is necessary or useful to achieve the reversal.
  3. Gallagher Rewards Program membership is a privilege that can be revoked by AJGCL at its discretion at any time and without compensation including, without limitation, abuse by the Member of any of these General Terms and Conditions or any other actions deemed by AJGCL, acting in its sole discretion, to be deleterious to AJGCL, the Gallagher Rewards Program or the interests of its partners or suppliers.
  4. In order to accumulate or redeem Rewards Points, you must be a Gallagher Rewards Program Member in good standing.
  5. From time to time, Members may receive personalized offers or exclusive offers extended to certain segments of our membership or selected Members.
  6. Members can withdraw consent to receive marketing material at any time by unsubscribing from any email or by contacting AJGCL.
  7. Members shall be responsible for any taxes, security charges, levies or other charges imposed by or with the authority of any government or governmental authority in respect to any Rewards.
  8. AJGCL and all companies affiliated with AJGCL will not be responsible for correspondence lost or delayed in the mail, by email or otherwise.
  9. Each Member is responsible for keeping up to date on the Gallagher Rewards Program, the amount of Rewards Points s in their account and their accumulation and redemption activities by consulting ibam.gallagherawardsca@ajg.com. AJGCL shall not be liable for the Member’s failure to do so.
  10. Each Member is responsible for ensuring that all contact information given to AJGCL is current. AJGCL, its partners, suppliers, and affiliates, shall not be liable for misdirected or delayed communications such as mail or email, or any consequences thereof.
  11. All Rewards Points in an account expires if the Gallagher Rewards Program Member has not accumulated or redeemed Rewards Points for a period of 36 consecutive months.
