Petra Fischer Joins TIBS Women’s Day Boating Panel

Skippers’ Plan marine insurance specialist Petra Fischer will be chatting about boating and boat insurance at Women’s Day,  one of the new show features at the 2019 Toronto International Boat Show.

Petra will be part of the lunch & learn panel discussion where attendees can ask boating questions about things they always wanted to know about but did not know how!

With her motto, Canoe – Kayak – Paddle board – Power or Sail …matters not – Life it better on the Water! Petra will make an excellent panelist.

A licensed insurance broker with Arthur J. Gallagher Canada, Petra specializes in boat insurance and works in  the Yacht Department –  Skippers’ Plan. For more than 12 years, Petra has helped boat owners navigate the world of marine insurance, ensuring that her clients have the coverage that best suits their boating lifestyle.

Petra has been an active member of the boating community for over 30 years. As a passionate sailboat racer and cruiser who calls Ashbridge’s Bay Yacht Club in Toronto home, Petra is now giving back to the sailboat racing community by volunteering as a Sail Canada Club Judge.

As a result of Petra’s experience and passion for the boating industry, she has naturally developed the knowledge and know-how that her clients can leverage to help them understand the many boating options that are available to them.

Women’s Day is a new feature for the 2019 Toronto International Boat Show. Billed as a one-day educational opportunity for ALL women boaters, it’s a full day of seminars, guest speakers and interactive sessions all designed to educate and inspire women to get-out-on-the-water.

The agenda is set with exciting workshop presenters and topics such as:
